These flavours follow through on the palate, to produce a complex wine with juicy tannins and a velvety finish. Will mature well over the next 10 years.
Meerendal Merlot: Has a deep crimson colour with concentrated flavours of dark chocolate, truffles and almonds. Soft, ripe tannins with a lingering aftertaste. Good with red meats, venison and springbok carpaccio.

Eikendal Classique Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc: The Eikendal Classique is an elegant, well-balanced Bordeaux style blend. Marvellous full flavours are entwined throughout, with strains of oak, spice, chocolate, tobacco and mint, all leading to a very smooth finish. It shows a rich, well-structured body, and fine tannins. This wine typifies what Eikendal is all about – it is a classy, understated red wine with staying power.
Nitida Coronata: A white blend celebrating a marriage of barrel-fermented Semillon and fresh tank Sauvignon Blanc, before developing for a year in wood. Impressions of crispy apricots, creamy Amarula and showy flambé pancakes with chai spice make you yearn for Sunday roast pork and crackling.
